B&M’s stunning garden sofa furniture is £800 cheaper than identical set from Next

WITH summer just around the corner you might be thinking it’s time to spruce up your garden furniture.

If so, it’s worth heading to your nearest B&M as the discounter has just launched a range of look-a-like furniture for a fraction of the cost of other shops.

B&M is selling a garden sofa and table set for 80 per cent less than Next and it’s nearly identical

Here’s what you need to know.

Garden corner sofa – £199.99

The best deal we found was a corner sofa and coffee table set that cost £200 at B&M, when a nearly identical set costs £999 at Next.

While the two sets look nearly identical – you get more flexibility with Next’s offering, which is made up of five modular seat sections to create different seating arrangements.

There’s even an adjustable section that can turn into a sun longer.

Meanwhile, the much cheaper B&M version may look similar to Next’s but it’s actually one corner sofa and a table, so you don’t have the same flexibility.

It’s also smaller, so you won’t be able to seat as many people.

Aldi is also selling a very sinilar corner sofa for £199.99 in store and online – the same as you pay at B&M.

String bench – £50

This Next bench costs three times more than the B&M equivalent

Can you spot the difference with this B&M string bench that’s three times cheaper that Next

B&M’s next bargain is the Hawaii String Bench which costs just £50. It’s nearly identical to a Next bench that costs three times more at £150.

The cheaper B&M version is available in white or grey, while Next’s offering comes in grey, natural or teal.

Other than the changes in colours we struggled to tell the two items apart, although the descriptions say that B&M’s bench is slightly bigger.

The B&M bench was the cheapest one of it’s kind that we could find. The next cheapest was a black bench from JMart.co.uk for £69.99.

Five piece cube patio set – £250

Head to B&M to save £49 on a garden set

This Asda set costs 16 per cent more than its B&M rival

The next item in the B&M garden sale is a five piece cube patio set costing £250.

It’s one of B&M’s more expensive offerings, but it’s still 16 per cent cheaper than this virtually equivalent offering from Asda, which costs £299.

Both sets include a glass-topped table and four matching chairs in the grey weave.

They both also come with detachable cushions.

We couldn’t find a cheaper version online, The Range’s closest equivalent cost £329.99 while Argos had a similar version for £300.

Amazon often has good deals on patio furniture so it’s worth checking there for a bargain.

Gazebo bar – £250

This gazebo bar from Argos costs £330 and comes with a built-in wine glass rack

B&Ms bar is more basic but an absolute steal at just £250

If you’re planning plenty of garden parties this summer, you might fancy picking up a gazebo bar.

B&M has launched one with two stools and a glass top bar, that costs just £250.

Looks-wise, it’s very similar to this Argos one, which is £80 more at £330.

But with the Argos set you do get more bang for your buck, as it has a wine glass rack built in an shelved to keep your bottles in.

The Range also has its own Gazebo Bar, which is currently discounted to £299.99 (saving £100).

The cheapest offer we could find was on Amazon where you could get a gazebo bar from £129.99, but this wasn’t as stylish as the other stores’ offerings and only comes in green.

Charcoal barbecue – £120

B&M’s BBQ is a bargain at just £120

The Range’s similar offering is £30 more expensive even though it has virtually the same features.

No summer party is completely without a barbecue – and B&M’s deluxe Louisiana charcoal BBQ is very reasonable at just £120.

It looks very similar to this stylish Texas Smoker BBQ from the Range, which is slightly more expensive at £149.99

The Range’s version features a temperature gauge and an adjustable charcoal tray with a crank-up system.

It also has a chimney, which can be used for that delectable smoked flavour or as a warming area, and removable dishwasher safe grills.

B&M’s offering has similar features. Its two-tier grill has a warming rack and a built-in thermometer. While the convenient front door allows easy access to top-up charcoal or wood chippings.

It also includes a side shelf, bottom shelf, ash pan and two fixed wheels for easy mobility and even has a built-in bottle opener.

B&M wasn’t the cheapest place to get a BBQ. There’s loads available, so you need to do your research, but Argos had the best bargain we could find, with a near identical product for just £110.

Amazon had BBQs that were even cheaper still, but we couldn’t spot any in the same style.

Lay-Z spa hot tub – £350

B&M is selling the Lay-Z Spa Vegas for the cheapest price we could find online for just £350

Unlike the rest of B&M’s garden bargains, the Lay-z spa its selling is completely identical to the ones you can buy elsewhere (rather than just being similar).

The six-person inflatable hot tub is available for use indoors or outdoors and claims to be very easy to assemble.

B&M is selling the tub for £350, substantially cheaper than Argos’ £599.99 offering.

We couldn’t find the tub any cheaper online at the moment, but plenty of retailers have regular hot tub deals so it’s definitely worth shopping around before you buy.
